| This is a Unique Print. We used real string coated in ink when making it. The string lays differently making each one different. Bush tucker is our favourite food. We love to gather mud crabs, sting rays, fish, yams, prawns many fruits. Everything you need to live on is out there in the bush. You just have to go out there and get it. Much better for you then what we buy in the shop. Dilly bags were very important to our old people. A good dilly bag can take weeks to weave from natural fibre. A dilly bag can last for a couple of years with hard use. Our old people carried everything they needed in dilly bags. A dilly bag is totem for us. They are a symbol from our past that represents our cultural identity today. |
