| A young sorcerer brings a gift to an elder who was his teacher. I the old days most warriors were sorcerers with magical powers. Many were crocodile sorcerers. They had trained pet crocodiles. They could use their crocodiles to kill a bad person or an enemy. They could climb on the back of the crocodile and let them swim across a river. Older crocodile sorcerers trained younger ones on how to train them and use their powers. My painting "Gift to a Teacher' tells this story. I remember my grandfather being such a person. |
