Mother's Land - Mono Print on Paper

My Mother's Land is a mono print created to represent the traditional lands of my mother's family. This is saltwater lands south of Pormpuraaw. During the dry season the land dries out and leaves vast salt pans. These have many tracks cutting through them. Some are left from the flood waters and some are tracks that we follow to get to our hunting and fishing grounds.
