| My print "Freshwater Women" came to me one day after I caught a big freshwater catfish on a fishing trip. I wondered why our old people never made crazy masks and hats like other cultures that you see on TV. I thought how special the freshwater cat fish was for our people when living inland especially during the dry season. I think our old people wore our totems inside our spirits. |
