Njorkal (Humpy)

'Njorkal' is my language name for home. In the old days we had many humpies all over country on the route of our songlines and yearly migrations. My etching shows a humpy built for a wet season when the rain comes often and falls heavily. We used paperbark for the walls, ceiling and floor. It makes a warm scented bed.
