| My new mono print titled 'Family boating their way to the homeland’ was made in 2023. My people used to go camping and fishing in their homeland. These days we have boats to get there more quickly. Everyone comes young and old. We collect bush food and go fishing. Our favourite food is fish cooked on the coals of a fire. Sometimes we use the boat to travel to other rivers. Sometimes we fish from the middle of the river in the boat. We jump from the boat into fresh water for swimming. There are crocs hanging around but they know us because of our scent and will leave us alone. These are the happiest of times for our people. |
