Ngat Pupath is the Thaayore word for Threadfin salmon. When we see lots of Rurr Pupath (dragonflies) that are bright blue or orange we know that the wet season is over and the fishing will be good. This is a sign that the Ngat Pupath will be close to shore. We hunt them with spears and catch them with nets and fishing lines. |
