| Dilly Bags are very important to our country. A dilly bag takes weeks to prepare. We gather the palm fron from a cabbage palm tree. We separate it till we get the inner most strands. Then we let it dry, dye it and roll the strands on the thigh and then weave it by hand with no loom. |
