| We are blessed with many beautiful flower that grow wild in the bush around Pormpuraaw. This incudes wattle, bush hibiscus, waterlily and Cooktown orchids. Most bloom during or after our wet season. When I was a child I would collect these flowers and give them to my teacher or the church. I love painting flowers in bright colours. |
