| This is the story of the Rainbow Serpent and his visit to a place called Purp. The old people were camping at Purp one night. During the night one old man woke and started singing. Then all the other people started clapping their hands and singing. They were really happy. The Rainbow Serpent stealthily moved around and swallowed two of the men. He then spewed them out of his mouth and they became flying foxes or Minh Kant in our Thaayorre language. If you have a look at a flying fox you will see that their private parts are very like those of men. This is the privates of the men that the Rainbow Serpent swallowed. |
