Biography

I was in born in Cairns and have spent my whole life in Pormpuraaw. Brolga is my totem and I am a traditional owner of this country. I went to Herberton boarding school for grade 8. Grade 9 I went to Charters Towers State School. I worked as a carpenter and painter and helped build and maintain all the houses in Pormpuraaw. I love to go fishing and I have one son and one grandson. I started art and working at the centre last year 2021. I like hanging out with my family making art. So far I have been experimenting with making ghost net art. It is fun gets me out of the house. I have many ideas.
