Background Info

Biography

I was born in Pormpuraaw and have lived here my whole life. My people are the traditional owners of Pormpuraaw and my totems are the black duck and emu and spear.

I went to school in Pormpuraaw and have had done various jobs here. I like to make spears and other things the old people taught me to make. I also like painting.

I have two boys Domenic and Jerry and a partner, Michelle. We love going fishing and hunting as a family, teaching the boys and collecting things to make spears with etc.

In 2023 I joined the Art Centre and have just started learning how to make ghost net sculptures, I look forward to making more and trying different techniques.
