Bull sharks are a big totem for us. They are everywhere in our rivers and coast line. We call them blue sharks because when they swim up river they turn blueish. We love to eat them cooked on the coals and use the raw liver as a sauce. This is traditional food for us. We mince a ball of meat and wrap it up for later. Our old people could take this bush and live off of it for days just nibbling off of it. |
