| "Ghost Net Fish With Bones" is an early painting from 2011. In those days Syd became aware of the harmful affects to sea life caused by abandoned fishing nets. Syd expressed these feelings through sculptures and wanted to express it in painting. It is a powerful work using traditional colours of yellow ochre and black. |
