| The Rainbow Lorikeet is my totem. In my Kugu language we call the Rainbow Lorikeet 'Minha Pimba' The rainbow gives them their colours. After the wet season the Minha Pimba come to Pormpuraaw to eat the flowers. This painting is them eating the blossoms from the rubber tree in my friend’s yard. |
