![Two Baby Turtles in Ghostnet](http://pormpuraawartculture.com/cdn/shop/files/003-24MBRD_{width}x.jpg?v=1707264982)
The beaches of the Gulf of Carpentaria are an important nesting area for sea turtles. We often see turtle nests on our beaches. Turtle eggs were a traditional food of our old people. Now we love to see the baby turtles hatch and make their way down our beach to the water. My two turtles are a representation of these hatchlings. |
