They are deceased now but their spirits now are part of our traditional country. They have become their totems. They lived a simpler life then ours; no distractions, no TV, no cigarettes. I think about hose old ones and old ways. I was raised by my grandparents. They lived the old ways and taught me those skills needed to live that way."
