Bush Tucker is a word we use for bush food. There is a lot to eat out there. We still prefer bush food to food we get in the shop. My lino cut print shows two dilly bags made the old way from cabbage palm. In it we would carry all our food: fish, clams, various sea shelled animals, fish, fruit, nuts, yams and ther tubers. We were much healthier eating that food then all the junk food we eat now. |
