| This is traditional story about a sacred place where women go to get pregnant. If you go near it you can wake up the dreaming of the baby spirits, the sacred tree calls in the spirit of the baby. The baby spirit might appear to the mother in the form of some small creature such as snake, a fish or a turtle that disappeared suddenly and inexplicably. When the creature vanished in this way, the women knew that it had entered her flesh and had become embodied with her as a foetus. |
